Dora Akunyili’s Daughter Njideka Crosby Wins Smithsonian American Art Museum’s 2014 James Dicke Prize

Njideka Akunyili-Crosby, the daughter of former Director-General of NAFDAC, the Late Prof. Dora Akunyili, has won the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s 2014 James Dicke Prize.

The prestigious award, worth $25,000, is given to artists younger than 50 in recognition of their significant work of arts and exceptional creativity.

Crosby, a mixed-media artist, is 32 and living her dream.
