Throw Depression Overboard! (Realistic Pencil Drawing)

inspirational and realistic pencil drawing
I'm pleased to showcase this realistic pencil drawing I did. Some of us find inspiration in arts and I believe this one will serve that purpose. I wish you could laugh at impossibilities like that. :) Many choose to be depressed when faced with difficulties, not knowing that nothing stifles productivity like depression. It's not what happens to us, but how we react to them, that matters. Instead of getting depressed, throw up that weird laughter that will make men wonder whether your ship has arrived. :-) Remember, "A merry heart doeth good like medicine." So make up your mind not to allow anything bring depression your way. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Stay inspired!

Subject: Merry Heart (portrait of the week)
Medium: graphite pencil on paper
Size: 16 x 20 inches

I will be pleased to have you share this, if you find it interesting.

  1. Hi Obinna, you very correct. It is not what happens to us that matters, what matters is how we respond to the things that happen to us. it is certain that giving in to self-pity, frustration and depression will never bring out any positive result. We should learn like you rightly said to be strong and smile at the face of adversity. Thanks for sharing this post

  2. Hi Obinna

You are so right. Depression is a killer and besides depression has never been in tune with productivity and creativity. So it is best to smile and make a difference. Thanks for sharing. Take Care
